Join us to learn about the past, present and future of the fight against Mountaintop Removal and other abuses of the coal industry.
We will be talking with local residents who have been fighting mountaintop removal, taking a trip to Kayford Mountain to see MTR first hand, and meeting and networking with students from across Appalachia and the Southeast. There will be talks on all our current projects, from the Coal River Wind Project to Sludge Safety and our joint campaign to get national legislation passed. The Campaign is in full swing and the youth are a huge part of it.
Past summits have been amazing events by all accounts and they only look to be getting better. Make sure to Register to be part of the weekend. |
